Sagaing
Amarapura, known as 'The Immortal City' is the former capital of Myanmar and now a township of Mandalay City. The township is known today for its traditional silk and cotton weaving and we learned of a hand-picked weaving process through our photovoice participant, Ma Wai and . We also learned of the indigenious textile designs through visits to the market.
