Fashion Practice
Creative director and project manager 2001 - 2016
Established a fifteen-year creative relationship through design consultancy to Religion Clothing, Bali. Leadership for the brand in Asia led to the opening of their first 350sqm retail experience and subsequent 3 other openings, which optimised the company’s sales by $3M+ per annum in Bali, Indonesia.
Complex international project management and implementation of ideas through strategic planning, material sourcing through my network of Asian manufacturers and collaboration with local artisans. Directed routine operations from infancy to successful progression, from the seamless execution of day-to-day design, sampling, and retail production activities.
Recruited and orchestrated a retail team (Bali) with deep knowledge and sensitivity to cultural relationships. Designed and ran a team to develop location-specific resort wear utilising surplus and waste fabrics. Design, informed by a fashion print background, all in-store visual communications, packaging, merchandising and seasonal window display.
